For over a decade, I lived the grind of building a successful live music business. I studied jazz at a local university and just loved playing, but really had no idea how to turn it into a profitable career. For seven years, I was stuck on the gigging hamster wheel, running my own 9-piece party band, working 12-hour days, and constantly doing administrative tasks behind a computer screen. I was exhausted, not profitable, and almost quit due to burnout.
But everything changed when I realized the problem wasn't my musical talent; it was the lack of a proper system. That's when I teamed up with a friend to build a solution that we wished we had—a platform to manage all the back-end chaos. On that journey, we started a mission: to prove to the world that live music is a "real job" and to help every musician build a profitable, stress-free career.
